Fitzpatrick Referrals is calling all Registered Veterinary Nurses who are night owls to apply to join its specialist veterinary orthopaedics, neurology and dentistry hospital in Eashing, Surrey. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals with a particular interest in the provision of ward-based nursing care. The right candidate will join a team of nurses, veterinary care assistants and vets to deliver the high standard of care our patients deserve. Overnight, we have three nurses, three veterinary care assistants and a vet on-site, all dedicated to looking after our inpatients. You will be a registered and experienced nurse who is forward-thinking, shows empathy and demonstrates exemplary teamwork. Previous experience in referral nursing would be beneficial, but we also encourage applications from registered veterinary nurses with post-qualification, first-opinion practice and/or ECC experience. We have one full-time role working 7 nights on, 7 nights off, Monday-Sunday every other week. Salary starting from £39,000 per year, for full-time. Each shift is a 12-hour waking shift with a paid rest break. We provide full induction, mentoring and support to enhance your skills in advanced nursing care for our orthopaedic and neurological patients. In return, we offer a pay scale based on post-qualification years of experience, RCVS registration, funded CPD, a company pension scheme, life assurance and an award-winning employee assistance programme. Early applications are encouraged and we reserve the right to close for applications before the closing date.
